New in Razuna: New Workspace switcher, Co-Admins, and Request access option
As more people take to Razuna, we are excited to announce the following new options for your Razuna account.
New workspace switcher and settings
The past design was sufficient for a small number of workspaces. However, Razuna users like the workspaces (a lot), so we had to rethink how to make them more manageable.
The new workspace switcher works by clicking on your workspace name, which brings up a drawer with all your workspaces on the left side. Depending on the access permissions, you will see the option to manage a workspace's settings and tags. Furthermore, you will find workspace-relevant options like creating a new workspace and managing your members and teams in this section.
Re-designed member and team section
With the new design changes, we also overhauled the member list. You now invite new team members by entering their email addresses and clicking the invite button (a drastic difference from the previous convoluted method).
Furthermore, adding or removing a team for members has been changed to a mere click on the team checkbox(es).
Co-Administrators
Only the workspace owner can initially manage members, teams, and other workspace settings. The new Co-Administrators option allows you to empower other team members to act as Administrators on your behalf.
Elevating a member to Co-Administrators only provides them access to the Member & Team section and doesn't provide access to workspaces. You still want to create distinct permissions for them per workspace.
Request Access option
You can manually invite members to your workspace at any time. However, doing so is suitable when you only have a few members to invite.
If you have a larger team or need to invite third-party teams, you can now leverage the "Request Access" option. "Request Access" adds a link to your login page, allowing them to request access by filling out a form.
You have several options to alter the form, change field labels, confirmation and email text and more. You can also set email domain restrictions, allowing only individuals with specific email addresses to request access. This is a great way to prevent fake bot requests and ensure that only genuine users can access your platform.
All of the enhancements mentioned above are already available in your Razuna account. Please note that some features are only available to customers with a paid Razuna plan.
What's next?
We are in the final stages of implementing the versioning system and will soon start with the visual image and video editor.
As always, your feedback is appreciated. Thank you for using Razuna.
